Join the Butterfly Enthusiasts of Northern Arizona (BENA), the City of Sedona, and other Arizona butterfly conservation and education organizations for a morning celebrating butterflies and the plants they depend on!

This free, family-friendly event will feature opportunities to learn about Arizona’s butterflies and native plants, along with butterfly-themed games, crafts, and activities.

Event Highlights:

• Monarch butterfly tagging demonstrations at 9:30 AM and 11:00 AM
• Educational activities focused on butterflies and the plants they need to thrive
• Butterfly-themed games and crafts
• Native butterfly host and nectar plants available for purchase, including several species of milkweed
• Butterfly art, clothing, jewelry, stained glass, stickers, and other items available for donation

When: Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 9:00 AM–12:00 PM
