Join the Arizona Field Ornithologists (AZFO) for their 2026 Annual Meeting! This three-day gathering brings together birders, researchers, and ornithologists from across Arizona to share the latest in avian research and celebrate Arizona’s birdlife.

The weekend will feature research presentations, expert-led field trips, bird banding, social events, and opportunities to connect with Arizona’s birding community. Saturday’s program includes presentations covering Pinyon Jays, grassland birds, bird banding, avian disease, forest bird communities, and more.

This year’s keynote speaker is Dr. Jeff Foster of Northern Arizona University, presenting “Scatological Adventures in Avian Diets: Molecular Dissections of Poop.”
