The Lovejoy Center for Bringing Biodiversity, Conservation Science, and Policy at the University of Arizona is seeking early-career researchers for the Tom Lovejoy Conservation Fellowship, a full-time postdoctoral position focused on interdisciplinary conservation science.

- Salary: $62,232–$70,344 annually (DOE)
- Start date: After July 1, 2026

About the Role
The Fellow will collaborate with Lovejoy Center faculty on interdisciplinary research addressing biodiversity conservation, climate change, policy, public health, and related fields. Responsibilities include research development, proposal writing, synthesis publications, conference presentations, and engagement with community and policy partners.
Minimum Qualifications
- PhD completed by start date
- PhD earned within the last 5 years
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in conservation science, ecology, environmental science, policy, or related fields
- Experience with interdisciplinary research, quantitative analysis, GIS, or programming (R/Python) preferred
