The Nature Conservancy is seeking a Preserve Manager to oversee operations and management of the Middle San Pedro River Preserve in Benson, Arizona. This position will be responsible for implementing ecological restoration, coordinating preserve stewardship, managing facilities and field operations, and supporting conservation objectives for the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations, including habitat restoration and monitoring projects.
- Coordinate staff, volunteers, contractors, and partner organizations.
- Oversee preserve infrastructure, safety, and maintenance.
- Support TNC’s conservation strategies and community engagement in the Middle San Pedro watershed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in biology, ecology, natural resource management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience in preserve or land management, ecological restoration, or conservation fieldwork.
- Ability to work independently and in remote field settings.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
