San Bernardino National Wildlife Refuge Technician (AmeriCorps)

The Arizona Conservation Corps, in partnership with the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, is seeking two AmeriCorps members to serve as Refuge Technicians at the San Bernardino National Wildlife Refuge near Douglas, Arizona. This 4-month position offers hands-on experience in wildlife conservation, including monitoring endangered species, habitat management, and public outreach. Ideal candidates are pursuing or hold degrees in natural resources, are physically fit for fieldwork, and possess strong communication skills.

Location: Douglas, Arizona
Term: May 12 – September 12, 2025
Compensation: $500/week living allowance + $150/week additional benefit
Benefits: Housing provided, health coverage, $2,817.14 AmeriCorps Education Award, Public Lands Corps Certificate
