Mid to Senior-Level Wildlife Biologist

Position Overview

Logan Simpson is hiring a Mid- or Senior-Level Wildlife Biologist to support environmental consulting projects throughout Arizona and the Southwest. This hybrid position includes wildlife surveys, biological reporting, environmental compliance work, and project management. The role is based out of the company’s Tempe office with flexible scheduling options available.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct wildlife and avian surveys for sensitive and listed species
  • Prepare Biological Assessments, Biological Evaluations, and technical reports
  • Support environmental compliance related to ESA, NEPA, and other regulations
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and proposals
  • Travel to project sites throughout Arizona, Utah, and Nevada

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Wildlife Biology, Ecology, Environmental Studies, or related field
  • 5–10+ years of consulting or agency experience preferred
  • Strong wildlife identification, GPS, and field navigation skills
  • Experience with environmental compliance and technical writing
  • GIS and multidisciplinary environmental experience are a plus

Salary & Benefits

  • Salary range of $65,000–$100,000 depending on experience
