What is phenology and how can you help scientists study the effects of climate change?  Come to the phenology workshop, sponsored by McDowell Sonoran Conservancy and the National Phenology Network, and find out! Volunteers and students are invited to learn how to properly observe and document the phenology, or year-round changes, in selected desert plants. Afterwards, volunteer for one of 3 teams to gather data on several desert plant species along phenology trails in the Preserve. LoriAnne Barnett from USA National Phenology Network will be teaching this class.
