Long Valley Meadow Phase II

May 19-20, 2018

Camp will begin Friday night. Meals will be provided Friday night, Saturday and Sunday. This project is a partnership between the Arizona Elk Society, AZGFD and the US Forest Service.

For this habitat improvement project, volunteers will remove trees, lopping the limbs and stacking them so they can be burned. In the riparian creek channels we will be working to restore the functionality of the channel. In other areas we will be maintaining aspen enclosure fences & removing old barbed wire fences.
