The Arizona Chapter of the Wildlife Society is seeking a new Newsletter Editor!
Are you looking for a fun way to deepen your involvement and to learn more about our chapter and partners? Interested in expanding your resume and experience? Become our Newsletter Editor!
The Newsletter Editor curates and produces our quarterly newsletter, The Arizona Wildlifer, for digital distribution to members and students. The Editor is responsible for soliciting materials for our quarterly newsletter, coordinating with authors and photographers, editing submissions, and completing layout of each issue. You can view past issues of The Arizona Wildlifer here.
Required skills include self-initiative, strong writing skills, and experience using Microsoft Office programs. Graphic design experience is a plus!
This is a volunteer position that includes close involvement with the AZTWS Board, who meet monthly via conference call. This is an excellent way to learn more about projects in which our chapter and others are involved and to reach out to our members and the public about TWS.
