Arizona Land and Water Trust is hiring a Project Manager to support its mission of protecting Southern Arizona’s working landscapes, wildlife habitat, and water resources. This position plays a key role in real estate transactions for land conservation, working closely with landowners, agencies, and conservation partners.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing real estate transactions, including conservation easements and fee title acquisitions
- Conducting site investigations, title reviews, and due diligence
- Utilizing GIS (ArcPro) for mapping and project management
- Drafting conservation easement documents and land management plans
- Securing and administering grant funding for conservation projects
- Collaborating with landowners, public agencies, and conservation organizations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in land planning, natural resource management, pre-law, real estate, or a related field
- 3-4 years of experience in real estate transactions or land conservation
- GIS experience and knowledge of land and water policy in Arizona preferred
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders
- Willingness to travel within Arizona as needed
This full-time position offers a salary of $55,000-$65,000, along with benefits including paid time off, medical and dental coverage, a 401(k) plan with employer match, and life insurance.
