Conservation Lands Project Manager

Arizona Land and Water Trust is hiring a Project Manager to support its mission of protecting Southern Arizona’s working landscapes, wildlife habitat, and water resources. This position plays a key role in real estate transactions for land conservation, working closely with landowners, agencies, and conservation partners.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing real estate transactions, including conservation easements and fee title acquisitions
  • Conducting site investigations, title reviews, and due diligence
  • Utilizing GIS (ArcPro) for mapping and project management
  • Drafting conservation easement documents and land management plans
  • Securing and administering grant funding for conservation projects
  • Collaborating with landowners, public agencies, and conservation organizations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in land planning, natural resource management, pre-law, real estate, or a related field
  • 3-4 years of experience in real estate transactions or land conservation
  • GIS experience and knowledge of land and water policy in Arizona preferred
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders
  • Willingness to travel within Arizona as needed

This full-time position offers a salary of $55,000-$65,000, along with benefits including paid time off, medical and dental coverage, a 401(k) plan with employer match, and life insurance.
