
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is seeking two Volunteer Technicians to assist with the Mexican Gray Wolf Recovery Program. This six-month, field-based opportunity will begin after June 2, 2025, and primarily involves monitoring wolf distribution, conducting radio-telemetry, assisting with wolf management activities, and supporting livestock conflict management efforts. Volunteers should be flexible, team-oriented, and physically prepared for remote fieldwork in challenging conditions. A bachelor’s degree is required, and relevant experience in wildlife biology, tracking, camping, and off-road driving is preferred. Housing is provided, and volunteers will receive a daily travel reimbursement and a monthly grant.
