Are you passionate about wildlife conservation, GIS applications, and working in Arizona’s incredible landscapes? The Mule Deer Foundation (MDF) and Arizona Game & Fish Department (AZGFD) are seeking a Cooperative Mule Deer Biologist to focus on big-game migrations and connectivity corridor mapping.
Duty Location: AZGFD Headquarters, Phoenix, AZ
Position Type: Full-time, 3-year term (potential extension)
Salary: $50k-$55k (based on experience) + benefits and 401K

Key Responsibilities Include:
- Utilizing GIS for geospatial data analysis and connectivity mapping
- Supporting wildlife conservation and habitat improvement projects
- Collaborating with various partners on research and corridor mapping
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (preference for advanced GIS training or experience)
- Strong skills in ArcGIS, R programming, and wildlife science
- Knowledge of Southwest flora/fauna and ability to work independently in rugged conditions
