March for Science – Lake Havasu

The March for Science on Saturday, April 22, sounds a call to support and safeguard the

scientific community. Recent policy changes have caused heightened worry among

scientists. The mischaracterization of science as a partisan issue, which has given

policymakers permission to reject overwhelming evidence, is a critical and urgent matter.

It is time for people who support scientific research and evidence-based policies to take a

public stand and be counted.

The primary march will be in Washington, DC, but satellite marches are occurring across

the nation, including in several Arizona cities. We encourage you to join your local march!

The Lake Havasu March for Science will start at the corner of McCulloch and Acoma in front

of Octane Wine Garage, then head down Main Street to the London Bridge and back.
