7th Annual Jackrabbit Survey
September 23, 2017 @ 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
Survey blacktail and antelope jackrabbits while strolling through beautiful semi desert grasslands. No experience necessary. Must be able to walk 1.5 miles in uneven desert terrain. Please wear pants, boots, long sleeves, sunscreen & hat. Bring water, pen, food, and a positive attitude.
Schedule:
Optional: Friday pm – Set up camp at Mile Marker 33 on Hwy 286.
Saturday 8 am – Meet at Arivaca Road/Hwy 286 for 1st survey.
Saturday 10 am – End 1st survey. Caravan to 2nd survey site.
Surveys will be done by 4pm on Saturday.
