Climate Projection Data and Its Application: From Comparisons and Code to Transformations and Tools

This webinar will be a survey of several topics pertinent to working with climate projection data on wildlife studies in the Southwest. We will cover the subjects of data availability and selection, discussing important aspects like climate change scenarios and regional downscaling of global climate model output. We also will describe issues related to obtaining and reformatting data, as well as sources of uncertainty and confidence levels in projections of important climatic phenomena in the region such as the monsoon. By covering these various topics, we hope that attendees will be able to improve their workflow for applications of climate projection data and the interpretation of their results.
