AZGFD Yvonne A Betts Tortoise Adoption Facility is MOVING
The Department is moving the tortoise adoption facility to a new location adjacent to the AGFD headquarters. We are seeking volunteers who can provide manual labor (2-3 day process).
Day 1:
Seeking 10-15 people who can assist with constructing shelters (they will be dug with a backhoe).
Day 2 & 3:
Seeking 20 people to assist with removing the panels installed at the Wildlife Center in 2014, repairing panels, transporting to and installing the panels in their new location.
Dates:
October 27th (half day to install shelters)
November 4th & 5th (to move, repair, and install panels; 1-2 full days)
