EnviroSystems Management, Inc. Biological Monitor
JOB TYPE: Temporary – 1 year
POSITION OVERVIEW:
EnviroSystems Management, Inc. is looking for biological monitors for a powerline power pole replacement project in Oak Creek Canyon between Flagstaff and Sedona, AZ. Monitoring needs to occur Monday through Saturday from approximately 7am to 5pm. Monitoring will begin immediately and go through the end of November 2017. Monitors will coordinate with construction crews on a daily basis to ensure all areas of ground disturbance are monitored. The species of concern to monitor for, primarily, is narrow-headed gartersnake.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience Required: Previous biological surveying or monitoring, OR Previous natural resource monitoring, OR Previous construction monitoring, AND College coursework in biology preferred;Previous experience with gartersnakes or other reptiles preferred.
Biological monitors will be hired as subcontractors and will be paid on an hourly basis based on experience. Gas/travel will be reimbursed through fuel receipts.
