This year the Board of Directors for the Arizona Chapter of The Wildlife Society (AZTWS) conducted a survey to provide new continuing education opportunities to its members. The survey went out to over 450 members, with 58 responses.
The intent of the survey was to determine which subject areas are of most interest to the membership. Based on these results, AZTWS will design workshops to help members develop more advanced skills as professional wildlife biologists. Some of the areas that were discussed included drones, technical writing, mobile apps, capture techniques, and field necropsy.
