ATWELL Environmental Technician I

POSITION OVERVIEW:
Responsibilities/Job Purpose:
The Environmental Technician is a developmental position that supports the project team by conducting environmental evaluations, assisting in the production of environmental related reports, and other related tasks.
Typical Duties:
- Assist in permitting compliance
- Assist in assembling field supplies and obtain sampling containers and related equipment.
- Help maintain safe work environment by complying with Atwell and/or site-specific Health and Safety Plans.
- Assist in conducting field work by collecting samples and field measurements in accordance with project scope of work.
- Assist in preparation of monthly reporting to various agencies
- Communicate with Project Manager and Team Leader on workload status in order to meet designated chargeability goals.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Skills & Knowledge / Education & Experience:
- One year of expereience or relative internship experience required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.3
- BS degree in environmental related studies including biology, chemistry, geology or other related field.
- Technical writing experience needed
