DESCRIPTION:Arizona Monarch Tagging Events — Fall 2025Hosted by the Southwest Monarch Study \nJoin the Southwest Monarch Study this fall for a series of free\, RSVP-only monarch tagging events across Arizona! Volunteers will help tag migrating monarchs as they head toward their overwintering grounds. Space is limited to 15 participants per event\, so early registration is encouraged. \n\nSaturday\, September 13\, 2025 – Canelo\, AZ8:30 AM – 11:00 AMTag early-fall migrating monarchs feeding on native thistles\, sunflowers\, and asters. \nSunday\, September 21\, 2025 – Cornville\, AZ8:30 AM – 10:30 AMFlagstaff Festival of Science event. Tag monarchs in a sunflower field. Registration opens September 1. \nWednesday\, September 24\, 2025 – Cornville\, AZ3:30 PM – 5:00 PMSecond Flagstaff Festival of Science event in Cornville. Same details as September 21.
